    Default Lost my Wallet

Yep...I lost my wallet...Anyone know the process to replace a lost LTCF permit?

Should I not carry until I replace it?

    Thanks!

Call the local sheriff dept. They should be able to tell ya what to do about replacing your LTCF. This a good reason to OC now. Until you get a replacement LTCF.

Your county Sheriff is who you need to talk to.

Hope you have a better time in CHESCO than my wife did in DELCO when her purse was lost/stolen. She had to do the whole process over again, like she never had one in the first place plus the additional cost of a notarized letter stating she lost the first one.

Thats a real pain in the arse.

Also, when you go to replace your drivers license, be sure they put a note on your DL that the previous DL was lost.

What this will do is, if someone trues to use it and the police run the if, the officer will be notified that the lost license is trying to be use unlawfully.

I cant remember what that process is called. But your new one will say something to the effect that its a replacement on it.

I would also like to stress that you/anyone should NEVER keep your Social Security card in your wallet either.

FYI - $6.50 to replace LTCF and must be done in person at the Sheriff's office with a check or money order. Took about 15 mins.

DL took about 45 mins (no bad considering the place is so freaking annoying to go to as a rule) and was $13.50, check or money order only.

    Back in business.

You were very lucky. My Sheriff charged me the full cost and I had to go through the whole process again. MONTCO is a tough place. Glad to see everything worked out for you so quickly.
