HELP! lost a pin!
Last Sunday I was spending some times with the kids (the collection) like all good families should. So I'm in the process of doing a stock change on my XM15 and stupied me I didn't keep my finger on the buffer retention pin tight enough. PING!!! goes the pin and the spring as the bounce off into who knows. I found the spring, but lost the retention pin. Does anybody know where I can get one, order one, etc. Local would be awesome, but I don't have a problem ordering. Don't feel right with an AR out of commission right now!

Re: HELP! lost a pin!
Make one. It's a pretty simple part. I know I could modify the metal tip from something along the lines of a mechanical pencil to carry me over 'till I got the actual part.

If you lived nearby, I would just give you an extra one that I have.
But try these guys:

I would bet the guys at King shooter supply in king of prussia can get you one. They can get just about anything. There is a chance the guys at target master in chads ford have one in stock, but those guys are jerks.

Re: HELP! lost a pin!
You can find them zillions of places, the ones posted are just fine.
On a side note, I seem to have lost the firing pin for a submachinegun upper receiver I borrowed from Stack. Talk about embarrassment.

You better believe it. A letter written and all. I like knowing my business is appreciated.
