Cheap .40 S&W target ammunition
Does anyone have a link to an actual good price on some .40 S&W TMJ or FMJ target ammunition? The cheapest I can find is Tula 180 gr 50 rounds for $11.99. Anyone have a source cheaper than that or should I just buy a few cases of that Tula for $11.99 per 50?
Thanks.Last edited by Tech; April 11th, 2011 at 01:41 PM.

Re: Cheap .40 S&W target ammunition
also....how is the tula, wolf, brown bear types of ammo in Glocks?
i've shot thousands of rounds of wolf but no real experience with those brands in my Glocks. i know they are probably dirty, but are they reliable?
tula for 11.99 strikes my fancy.Adapt, Adjust and Overcome.

Re: Cheap .40 S&W target ammunition
Eh well it's ok, not exactly the best. I prefer light and fast rounds, so the fact that it's 180 grain and subsonic, really puts me off. But at that price I guess I'll just deal with it. I cannot believe that there is nothing cheaper than this?
That price is on cheaperthandirt btw

This is exactly why I may end up going back to 9mm, prices for .40 target ammo are outrageous and not worth it. I can find 9mm target ammo for $7 per box of 50.

I'm like a shark for low ammo prices online, if it's there I'll find it and descend upon it with a ferocious credit card feeding frenzy.
I would like to start reloading but I just can't put down $400 for equipment, that's a lot, a whole new gun.

Cheapest I have found for .40 target ammo is $12 for American eagle 165 grain FMJ.
Its not steel case Russian ammo, so the extra dollar I guess is worth it.
Plus, you can reload it later if you want."One must be a fox to recognize traps, and a lion to frighten wolves” ~ Machiavelli

Greetings,
Walmart Winchester value pack. 100 rounds for $28.00 if I remember right. When you factor in shipping, etc.

Re: Cheap .40 S&W target ammunition
Crikey these ammo prices are just infuriating. I need to go get a cold drink and calm down. Looks like I'm either going to put down $400 and start reloading so I can shoot as much as I want and not give dag nabbit or go to 9mm and pay $7 per box of 50.
I'm getting offline for a while I'll be back later guys.
