    It depends, are you turkey hunting with a compound or a xbow? If you are using a shotgun then you are a cheating slob!

    I don't recall who it was, but they said to never hunt turkey with a bow because the arrow ruins the meat. From the photo above, I'm going to guess that this isn't true.

    A bad shot with a shotgun is far worse then an arrow with the meat. Not always fun dodging pellets when chewing lol.

    I'm going bow hunting for the first time this fall - cause I won a bow in a raffle. PSE Brute (I think is the model, I know it's PSE) I'm going to pick it up today. I figure I can get proficient with it between now and deer season.

    I shot my buddy's compound, and it makes me want to sell my crossbow. lol. too bad i dont have the money for a decent compound
