Stopped in the Bethlehem Wawa tonight for coffee. I was carrying IWB at 6 o'clock with no cover garment and a spare mag at 9.

As I'm being rung up, the cashier goes, "Is that...a clip?
Like, for a firearm?"
"Yes it is."
"Oh, I was like, 'where's the gun??'
This make me grin in acknowledgement. "By the way, it's a magazine, not a clip," I offered.
"It is? Well what's the difference?"
I explained the difference in 15 or so words, ending with, "You can use a clip to load a magazine." I bade him farewell, and turned to leave.
"Aha, there it is! Stay safe."

The fifteen year old kid in line behind me gaped silently.

I'm at Target right now, and a minute ago, while choosing a new pair of shades for myself, an employee came by to put something on a shelf.

"I've never seen anybody carrying a gun before." I was surprised, not just by the virtue of his statement, but with how non-chalantly and matter of fact he was.
"We'll, in that case, I'm happy to see it doesn't phase you or make you nervous, like sometimes happens."
"No, not at all. I don't have anything to fear. Have a nice day!"

There are still reasonable adults in this world.

That's because most gun owners are probably boycotting Target for one reason or another.
