Re: MY favorite crappy gun.
Winchester Model 77 semi auto .22LR
The barrel is kind of rusty, the front sight post is bent, and the stock is kind of beat up. It still shoots and functions great, even though you can't hit anything with it.
It is a family heirloom passed down from my great grandfather on my dads side. Will never get rid of it, it is basically a cabinet queen(for those of us who don't own safes but instead gun cabinets). I have a bolt action Ruger that I won't ever get rid of either, another family heirloom, but I hunt deer with it on occasion. A little beat up, but still shoots true and flawlessly.

Re: MY favorite crappy gun.
damn i almost forgot...an old man i used bullshit in the diner with told me to come to his house. he said he had a shotgun for me. i was like 19. i get there and he had a 55 gal burn barrel in his basement. pulls this side by side 12 ga out. was sitting in there barrel face down, no case. it was a peerless arms, made in philly. had like a 40 inch barrel the was rusted at the end....ok its not a 40 but this thing for some reason looks huge. like 32". so i cleaned it up and took this bitch out to shoot it. it shot, but i was afraid the tips were going to blow apart. i went and got some 8 shot low brass and it was fine. it now hangs on the wall, i dont trust the thing.

Re: MY favorite crappy gun.
I have a Charco (one of Charter Arms reconfigurations in the early 90/s) .44 Spl Bulldog that I've had to the gunsmith twice and still don't trust to carry. I had a genuine CA Bulldog in the mid 80/s that was a joy & pleasure and after starting over again I wanted another one and made the mistake of getting the CharCo. The smith ensures it is in fine shape but whenever I take it to the range there is always something that goes wrong with it but I keep it because I reminds me of the older one I had...
