Ruger LC9
Just picked up my new LC9 this afternoon, went right to the range and shot 50 rounds through it. It shoots really well with no problems. It is a bit bigger than my LCP380, but that was expected. Well worth it for the additional stopping power !! As always, the guys at Backwoods Outfitters were awesome to deal with.

Re: Ruger LC9
Im looking at one of these myself.. how is the recoil? kinda small for a 9.. thinking it might be a handful for my wife..

Re: Ruger LC9
i still have a problem with that gun. its not that small and its not big enough. its a size that is to big for summer, and not enough for winter

Re: Ruger LC9
I'm not the OP but can tell you the recoil isn't bad at all. My only gripe with the gun is the long trigger reset similar to Keltec pistols.

Re: Ruger LC9
I think the recoil is less than that of my LCP380. Like I said, I shot 50 rounds through it without a problem. I took it home, cleaned it, loaded with my carry ammo, and it's been on me since. It is a bit bigger than I had hoped, but I can carry it in a front pocket and no one knows it. My wife is going to shoot it this weekend, and I can post the females perspective of the recoil. As a point of reference, she has a Taurus PT24/7 and a Beretta Tomcat, neither of which has much recoil in her opinion.
