    Default Carlsile Fish and Game

Has anyone here ever shot any of the shotgun sports at Carlisle? I found out last night that they have a skeet range, so I checked them out online. They offer trap, skeet, sporting clays, 5 stand and wobble trap.
My question to you is, who has actually shot there? How friendly are they? How accepting of new shooters (both to the club and the actual sport) are they? How much does it cost to shoot during the practice session? Do they not offer the practice sessions on days of little or no interest? I'm concerned with this due to the travel distance to go shoot there.
If any one can give me any info that'd be great.
    Thanks
It's all fun and games, til someone shoots your bobber!

I see this thread is getting plenty of views but no replies. Has no one who uses this forum actually ever shot at Carlisle Fish and Game?

I have shot trap at Carlisle a few times when I was on Enola's trap league. Nice people. I was a member at Carlisle many years ago but started shooting more pistol so WSSA suited my needs better. I still shoot trap at Enola since it is closer to me. But Carlisle is a shotgun shooters paradise . Carlisle was where i first shot trap as a kid, and they where friendly and very helpful way back then so I would guess they still are.

I shot skeet today at Carlisle. Those guys are great! I had never shot skeet before and they were really helpful. The fact that I shot 2 20s helped make it a good day too.
