Re: Heidelberg 3 Gun Shoot
As of Noon Wed. they are calling for early afternoon T-storms/showers for Saturday.
I think I'll skip this shoot this month and go to the Lebanon show instead.....I have money this time around & it's burning a hole in my pocket......I'll be hunting for a new .40 for 3-gun.
A co-worker ordered a new gun from Shyda's and has to pick it up anyway....so it looks like I'll get a free ride as well

Re: Heidelberg 3 Gun Shoot
Well, I normally shoot my Beretta 92...I love that gun but I'm going to have to get a trigger job done on it. It decocks the gun when I put the safety on...and then it's a looooong DA pull....and I ALWAYS flub the first shot. Also, last month I was having issues knocking down the steel with 9mm (but I guess I could just adjust my reloads....LOL). I do realize that 50% of that issue was shot placement as well.
I'll be getting rid of my Steyr M40 A-1 since I just can't get used to the trap sights on that thing......no one else seems to have a problem with it when I hand it to them though!
It actually costs me very little extra to reload the .40 compared to the 9mm. I already have the dies and a BUNCH of components stored, so I really don't want to get out of the caliber.
I've been lusting after H&K's for awhile now (and now the new FNX).....and for a change I have the extra cash to be able to afford something "nice" for myself.Last edited by QUADZILLA; April 13th, 2011 at 10:56 PM.
