Don't sweat the ranking, just being there shooting makes you a better shooter than anyone that just goes to the range or has an awesome collection sitting in a safe.

Its my second year and I am hooked.

Yes, it'll be May21st. It is truely a great shoot!

No prizes, no money, no trophies....just a bunch of great people hanging out & shooting and having fun. $10 for the day (4 stages). Church ladies usually bring out a real nice lunch/drinks for $5.

The range can be a little difficult to find your 1st time, so leave yourself plenty of time to get there.

You only need to bring 2 mags for each rifle/pistol. I always take extra & leave them in the car.....nothing like a broken $2.00 mag spring to ruin your day! Hell, I even take an extra pistol for that reason alone.

No need to load mags before getting to the range....every stage is different. No loaded weapons until you get on course of fire (holstered pistol with no mag inserted). You'll need chamber flags for shotgun/rifle. They sell them there for I think $2.00 each. No rimfire. No shoulder holsters or slings (to help prevent "sweeping" of participants).

I'm sure someone else will chime in if I forgot something!

Oh, I'll be there for sure!! Rain or shine this time!

I only have 100 rounds through the FNX right now.....hopefully that'll change on Friday. MASA is open & weather looks real good.....may be time to put another 400 down range to get her broken in right!
