Well the time it takes to have them redone is about an hr including travel time. If you send them in and they get rejected I'd say add a week or two to the already miserable wait time then plus an hr to get them redone. My luck is horrible. I'd be back at the PSP soon as I could.

Forgive my ignorance, but i thought prints and sign-off had to be done by your local chief or County Sheriff, not by the State Police.
I have a trust due to my sheriff's feelings on cans, so my knowledge on the prints only goes so far.

I was instructed by my FFL to have the fingerprints done by PSP... Thats all I know... I went and picked up 2 more ATF Fingerprint cards today and I have a 9am appointment tomorrow morning to have my prints redone... I have affixed a few pieces of the sticky parts from post it notes over the ORI section just incase the State Police don't know how to leave that section blank when they print... This way if they do print there I'll just pick off the post its and Voilą!!

Ok I got the new cards done... BUT... In order for the PSP to leave the ORI blank... They had to leave all the info blank... except for my prints obviously... Is it acceptable to hand write info in on your fingerprint cards

Yes, that is how it is done at places that don't use Livescan for fingerprints. You should be able to white-out or use a blank address label to cover the PSP's info in the ORI section of the first set that you had taken.

Talking Re: NFA Fingerprint Card Question

The PSP did mine and did not print their info over the ATF, so there is a way for them to omit the PSP info. The Trooper used 2 additional cards, so I ended up with 6 total, the ORI section on the 2 extra cards were blank, he said I could just type of print the ATF info in there, for future use.
