new sig p228
sold the hk usp compact for a sig p228. i freaking love this thing.
heres my usp exactly one year ago buying it compared to my sig first time shooting it. both were 20-25 shots
both at 7 yards, you can see clearly which gun i shot better with. the hk i progressed alittle with accuracy but it seemed like if i made any groups it was way far left and low. if i can say anything, they are both similar in dimensions, both super high quality german made duty guns, both the same price, but one has a much much better trigger pull.

Re: new sig p228
Congrats! It definitely makes sense to keep/buy the gun(s) you shoot best. There are definitely some guns I shoot better than others, and IMO, it just doesn't make sense to wrestle with the ones on the "not so good" list. Nice SIG!

i even went as far as to have a leo firearms instructor shoot the 45 at 10 ft and spot on.NEED A LASER

Nice 228. What year is it? I thought a lot of the new 228's were getting made with rails. I was going to get a 228 til I found a 229 SAS Gen 2 for a reasonable price.

Re: new sig p228
I shot low and left with my Glock 19 at first (also at 25ft), but noticed that I didn't with the Sig 226 or M&P 9. The local instructor thought I was "milking the grip" and told me to grip at full strength, then relax my trigger finger and shoot -- this fixed my low-left. YMMV
