Poster over on an OH forum called Centre to see about a submitted application. March 31 being the deadline for thru the mail applying...

Woman that answered the phone stated:

I just talked to Centre County, Pa and I was told that during the entire month of March they have been getting swamped with applications. She told me that as of this morning they have 58 boxes of unopened mail filled with applications. I was told to expect my application in the mail, at a minimum of 4 weeks and probably closer to 6 weeks.

58 boxes!

She meant LTCF, I would think, huh?

Or was she just requesting an app? Wouldn't think so since they are on line.

Wow, wonder how many envelopes in one of their boxes?

They better hire some help.
Sounds like they won't be able to comply with the 6111(b)(1.1)(iii) requirement of 6109(d)(5).

That's what we get when our Sheriff is widely known for being gun-friendly. I've seen Sheriff Nau mentioned on AZ gun forums!

Be aware that this year marks the election for the office of sheriff in Centre County. His time in office, even if re-elected, may be limited, should certain persons aggrieved by possible misbehavior in office move to see him convicted and removed from office.

Plan your LTCF applications/renewals and FFL/MG form signoffs accordingly.
