    Arggghhhh.....

Well there is no way in hell I can go to the block shoot with both the wife and mother jazzed to shoot clays, but I would be down with chucking a $20.00 donation anyways though

Definitely a good day! We had a squad of 7 shooters, and it was all people we knew. We shot 2 rounds of 50, on the 2nd round I shot twice. We had my wife, my mother, Brian, Archie, and another couple from work.

    Here is how I shot
    Round1 : 37 (74%)
    Round2a: 38 (76%)
    Round2b: 43 (86%)

I had some stations where I was really struggling to hit birds. So like I read in the Sporting Clay magazine, "If your not breaking birds, change something", I did just that.

I found that I was not closing my left eye. I am left eye dominant so I have to close it when I am ready to pull the trigger. This is nothing new, but I was keeping it open longer and longer to track a bird which ended shifting the bird when I got ready to pull the trigger

The other thing that I found is that I was shooting over the birds. I think this is gun related, so I made an adjustment to my stock to bring my POI down a touch and that pretty much solved that problem.

I got two good pieces of info out yesterday that will help me shoot better, and on top of that I had a great time with great people.
