    Default Just bought a Ruger P95

    Just got a Ruger P95 Saturday along with my LTCF on Friday.My question is what are you Ruger guys using for self protection HP's.Any advice would be great.Thanks,Jim.

    Winchester Ranger 9mm 127 gr. +P+

    read your manual and see what loads it can handle.
    I use that in my Ruger SR9

    currently in my p95 is 115 grain fiocchi hollow points

    i dont mind showing it. i bought it at an auction. the story is that a caveman built it during a dinosaur attack and he never finished it.

    IRRC the P95 is not a fan of 147g. In my glocks I carry 127g +p+

    @ NuclearSociety,according to Ruger's FAQ,looks like their 9's will handle almost anything including +P+.

    To everyone els,thanks for the feedback,esp with all the choices one has now a days.

    And just as a foot note,had it to the range today,and it performed flawlessly
