FFL Transfer near Lancaster
Hi everyone. This is my first post here... great site.
I've sent a couple emails to local gun shops to request information about doing an FFL transfer for a purchase through CDNN. I went the email route b/c it's most convenient for me. I haven't received a reply from either place and it's been a couple days. I know some places act like it's a pain to do this sort of thing, and if that's the case, I'd rather not deal with them.
So I'm looking for a reasonably priced place to do this FFL transfer for me. It's my first time purchasing through CDNN, so I'm new to this whole process. Any suggestions? I don't mind traveling a bit if it means I won't be treated like a burden.
Thanks for the help!

+1 on Village Arms in Gap, Pa. I've done three ffl transfers there in the last month. Two going out and one coming in. He charges $30 fee for ffl stuff.
I tried to get Mallins in Quarryville to do it, but they don't do ffl transfers anymore unless you buy from them or sell to them.

Re: FFL Transfer near Lancaster
I actually never knew that place was there. I'm always looking for new shops. Been going to Shyda's my last couple trips, but that can be quite a haul. Looking forward to checking Village Arms out.
I read a couple posts in this forum saying that Village Arms had moved. On their website, it says there located on 41. Is that correct, or is that their old address? If it's their old address, where are they currently located?
Thanks for the help!

Re: FFL Transfer near Lancaster
Village Arms is still on Rt41, just about a mile down the road from the old place. They built a brand new building.
If you are on rt30 and turn onto rt41, their place is on the right hand side at the first traffic light on rt41, about 1/4 mi from rt30. You have to turn into their lot a couple hundred feet before the light though.
I've had no problems with them at all with the ffl stuff. Some of their ammo prices are alittle high, but they have a good selection.

Village Arms is located across from the famous Gap town clock.
Sometimes tricky to acess their parking lot unless you know EXACTLY where it is.

Re: FFL Transfer near Lancaster
Thanks for the replies everyone. My plans changed and it turned out I didn't need an FFL transfer this time, but i'll keep them in mind for the future. I was interested in getting an H&K P7-PSP, which I found at Cabela's for about $100 more than what CDNN had them for, which is why I was going to order from CDNN. I got a promotion from Cabela's in the mail yesterday, which said I could get $100 off any purchase over $500. So I went to Cabela's this evening and picked it up. Combined with my points and the $40 I got for signing my girlfriend up for a card, it ended up being a pretty good deal.
Again, thanks for all the help. I just recently got interested in handguns, and have been hunting for years, so this definitely won't be my last purchase... I'll keep the suggested places in mind for my next one.
