    Default what is your preferred 380 JHP?

    The warmer months are coming around and I like some here carry a pocket 380, OD green frame with a parkerized slide P3AT, I'm interested what you guys are carrying in your 380's. I carry Winchester PDX-1 and Hornady CD FTX, what is your preferred round?

    Thanks but I'm not interested in what you carry unless you have a 380.
    ps- check the ballistics of your 38 to a 380 there very similar.

    I might be departing from the limitations of your poll, but here is the "why" which decides the "what".

    Picked Federal because that's what will work with 100% reliability in my P3AT, which is the only 380 I regularly carry. (Also works 100% in my Llama Especial - but that gun takes ANYTHING well.)

    Since it happened to be the first load I found on any dealer's shelf, it is the one I tried - and since it worked, no need to go further afield.

    I dont carry a 380 but very close a 9mm Mak. and use a load very similar to what is linked.

    I have heard about these fragmenting cause of the velocity and the ball. I have seen some video's on youtube but never tested any. Is there any info to either back me up or shoot me down? Also I think these are pretty hot rounds, am I correct?

    Double tap .380, it's the only .380 I've ever seen that's over mach 1.
