38 SW special
I just inherited an old SW 38 special from my uncle, is there any way to tell from serial# how old it is # is C 195140 any help is appreciated dont know much about these. thanks

Dont see a model # on the gun. just a number on the butt of the handle. There is a # where the Manual ejector opens but not a model #

they had model names back then. if it is a k frame it would be called a military and police.
