Are there any good classes for basic pistol marksmanship in the lancaster country area? Thanks.

the NRA "Basic Pistol Shooting Course" covers the basics pretty well. If you have taken the course, go thru the book and review it. Some things make more sense when you go back and look at them again. You can buy the book from the NRA if you like.

We run most NRA Courses at Pitcairn-Monroeville Sportsmen's Club. Check NRA web site nrahq.org. for class schedules or check PMSC's web site.

I help Teach Beginners NRA Basic Pistol Marksmanship class -
We use New Holland Rifle and Pistol Club near Gap, PA ( not to far from Lancaster ) and have a class coming up on May 7th

Students learn NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; pistol parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; range rules; shooting from the bench rest position, and two handed standing positions; cleaning the pistol; and continued opportunities for skill development. We will sponsor NRA Instructor Classes at Pitcairn-Monroeville Sportsmen's Club in early Spring 2013. Check NRA web site for registration info.
