56' Remington 11-48 sportsman. Cut down barrel threaded for choke. Shes a recoil operated 11-87 ancestor.

Re: If, you could have only one shotgun...
I am surprised no one mentioned the Remington 11-87, that would be my choice. My collection of shotguns will consist of the Remington 870, Remington 11-87 and the Saiga 12 (All 12 Gauge). The best shotguns made IMO.

I have 5 to choose from
Rem 870, Rem 1100, Beretta 3901, Hastan Escort and a Eastern Arms Single shot
I'd choose the Eastern Arms, belonged to my Grandfather. Don't have many memories since he passed back in the early 60's.... I'll keep the one I do haveHonesta Mors Turpi Vita Potior ~ 3%

Re: If, you could have only one shotgun...
Either the 870 or the 500. Most easily found shotguns out there so if I have any issues with mine I can find another one to part out.

Re: If, you could have only one shotgun...
I currently have a mossberg 500 20" 8 shot and a semi-auto ted williams/sears 20gauge that is a family heirloom. Given the choice of any shotgun on the market now, i think id go with the fn slp 1 or the 930 spx I qjust love the look of the full length magazine tube.
Not a fan Of the control placement on the 870 /1187 models. The Beauty of the 2nd Amendment is that it will not be needed until they try to take it.
