Re: Movie Theaters
I love movie theaters! It is not so much because of rather or not I am carrying concealed in them but what I can do to someone's eyes with one of my surefire flashlights. I watched a "situation nearly unfold in front of me one time, all I did was reached to my side and felt my C3 Surefire and observed. Both parties cooled down before things got too nasty. But there have been a couple of times where a tactical flashlight proved real useful in my life time!

Re: Movie Theaters
Because he wants to see the entire movie?
Most movie theaters are just like malls -- they have policies against firearms -- period. That said I would not go to the mall or the movie theater without my concealed handgun. But if the mall or theater ask you to leave their property you definitely better do so immediately without pitching a fit about it. I am prepared to leave but I conceal so that it deos not become an issue. I that is all that the gentleman was saying.

Re: Movie Theaters
So far, the only policies that I found online are here. I don't see any mention of firearms, but that doesn't mean that they don't have a rule against guns in their theaters.

Re: Movie Theaters
I carry in theatres Concealed... same with Malls. I would rather deal with the consequences of using my gun for self defense in a no gun zone then the consquences of another joker dressed mad man shooting up the joint and me not have my gun.
Yes I am aware this post may get me a kick in the nuts.

Re: Movie Theaters
I figure if its difficult to find the policy there is no policy. It's suppose to be posted on their front does anyways. If you can't see anything especially after looking real hard they must not have any policy.
Of course if security asks you to leave then you gotta leave. They can tell you to leave for pretty much any reason they want. It is after all private property.
