    Default PA Consolidated Statutes

    Hello,

I know PAFOA does a good job here at making the Pennsylvania Firearms laws available through this site.

The Pennsylvania General Assembly has finally gotten everything uploaded and sorted out online, link to the contents page here:

    http://www.legis.state.pa.us/cfdocs/...cons_index.cfm

Just thought to pass it along, since Corbett's office replied to my email inquiry last year (pre-election) stating that PA had no self-published online source of this material. They sent me a link to an online law library instead.

Not trying to take away from the hard work done here to make that information available, just wanted to pass on the PA has an official online publication of this information now.

Kith; Thanks for posting the link. It's about time Pennsylvania made this information available to the public, online.

I know that I will be making good use of this link.

That site, or a similar one, existed a few years ago when Pennsylvania became the 49th state in the Union to finally offer its statutes online. However, the website was quickly broken or removed, and following several weeks or months, the General Assembly began linking WestLaw's statutes online.

West's statutes as linked were unfortunately rather unlinkable and a person would always have to navigate to the statute sought. Also, saving statutes had to be peacemeal. I like that one can download whole titles under the self-published system.
