Re: non resident AZ or FL ccw?
AZ does not require Law Enforcement Agency to administer fingerprrints. A private agency can do your prints for AZ.
FL permt requires prints fingerprints to be administered by a Law Enforcement Agency. Technically a cop moonlighting and doing prints off duty does not comply with FL statute.Last edited by gbrown221; March 31st, 2011 at 11:40 AM.

Re: non resident AZ or FL ccw?
AZ process permit request in about 2 weeks and FL is up to 90 days.
Plus for FL you must be printed again by a law enforcement agency for each renewal. AZ prints only on initial application.
VA also requires prints by law enforcemment. VA Non Resident CCW requires phone number of Law enforcement agency to verify priints.
additionally FL and VA require application to be signed under oath.

Re: non resident AZ or FL ccw?
some local PD's will still print residents of their town in NJ. I can only speek for a few south jerseyy towns in Atlantic County.
I had my AZ prints done while at work by a southern nj PD.
when I got my NJ Non Resident FID card I had to apply via state police but prints by their vendor.

Re: non resident AZ or FL ccw?
Don’t say anything and be prepared to be arrested. As I and others have already pointed out you have no lawful purpose as a NJ resident (with very few exceptions) without any type of recognized license to be transporting a loaded or unloaded handgun in Pa.
Unlicensed OC is by foot only. So you will have to explain (or your lawyer) to a judge just how you got yourself and your firearm into Pa.
Granted you could just keep your mouth shut, and hope he goes away.
But your actions are illegal as you pose them, IMOLast edited by God's Country; March 30th, 2011 at 06:06 PM.
