Had this (second combo) on my Ruger MkIII and loved it. Now it lives on my 590A1. I'm getting a new one soon to put back on the MkIII. Note: My "wing" mount required minor clearancing around the switch cutout.

If you don't wanna drop that much cash Primary Arms makes a little reflex sight similar to the Burris for less cash. It is for a plinker after all (I assume.)

I had a Tasco red-dot on my Ruger for a while. A friend has a Leupold 2X20 scope on his. I tried his gun and liked the scope much better than the red dot. The red dot just shows how unsteady your hands can be.

I looked around and bought a Swift 2X20. The scope cost about $100 and is good quality; not Leupold or Zei$$, but fine for casual shooting. I also have one mounted on a S&W 686. I'm very happy with it.

I put one on my wife's Mk III. Great little sight. Pain to get adjusted, but once it is it hits.
