Re: Beretta neos
I rented on for my nephew a few times. I never had any problems with it. It's comfortable to shoot. The only think that I didn't like was the sights.

Re: Beretta neos
I love mine, only problem for me was the front sight blade is too wide. I put a pistol scope on, problem solved.

Re: Beretta neos
I own a 6" INOX Deluxe. It's a great little pistol that anyone can shoot. I put a red dot on the weaver rail and it works well.
The only issue I ever had was cleaning it (and it does get filthy). When it's stripped, the back of the slide has a really sharp edge. When i was pushing the bore swap through, I slipped... and bled profusely :-) Now I'm a lot more careful when I clean it.

Re: Beretta neos
beretta has a recall in on the neon for a safety issue...that can happen with any newer model, and is why i prefer the time-tested ruger.

Re: Beretta neos
Have both a Neos and a bull barrel Ruger, prefer the Neos. The Ruger goes through extractors like they're candy but haven't had 1 issue with the Neos.

I have a neos and it's been great! very comfortable and easy to load and shoot!
+1 on recall, Check out http://www.berettasupport.com/neos/ to see how look and find out if the one you're looking at has the "good firing pin" or needs to be retrofitted.
buy it!Hoppes #9 should be a scent in the perfume section of every store.

Re: Beretta neos
billamj,
you got my attention regarding extractor problems on the ruger pistols.
i had thousands of rounds through my old mk i and the guy i sold it to 15 years ago added thousands more without a hitch. i replaced it with a 22/45 mk iii without any problems and, other than your comment, haven't seen anything alluding to an extractor issue. what's the story?
