    Default PGH area rock climbing

The group shoots have proved that when a bunch of poofa guys get together and do anything it's a blast.

I haven't really climbed in a few years but this warm weather has me motivated to get back at. If there's some people around Pittsburgh that are into vertical conquest we should get together and hit the rocks.

Are you talking about with ropes and such?

I dont have any equipment, but used to climb when I was younger.

    Loved it.

I always thought rock climbing seemed cool, but I'm pretty sure I'd suck at it.

Nah, once you got the hang of it and found a good rhythm, you would be just fine.
Unless your severely overweight and out of shape.
Those are the only folks I have seen not make it up the rock face.

It's not as much about strength as it is balance and shifting your weight. Al little strength doesn't hurt either

That would be cool. With the weather getting warmer we'll have to plan a trip.

I have a static line, webbing, biners, and tons of repalling gear. I don't have proper top roping gear (dynamic rope, belay device ect)

I'm excited now. Let's get this going
