    Default CZ-82 Refinish

Started my CZ-82 project. Purchased my CZ-82 from CDNN in pretty good shape, but sent it out to mahovsky's Metalife for their metalife finish - only two weeks or so and it's back ! Waiting now on the new wood custom grips from Marschal grips, should be here in anther week or two. Replaced the springs with Wolf, went up to the 16lb for now, 18 seemed really stiff ? Can't wait to get the grips and finish her off !

Very, very nice, and I love that sorta "French Gray" finish. Hope you don't mind, but I touched up your picture just a bit, to be able to really have a look at that beauty... I will remove it no problem if you wish.

Boy these CZ-82's have to be near the current best ratio of $ to quality to be had for a surplus Hi-cap, DA/SA pistol; All steel, super HD, great trigger, 95% factory parts support, super reliable, decent round, fantastic ergonomics,... Just love em.

FWIW, your before refinish 82 looks new compared to the one I got from Wideners... Described as in great condition at the site, but came in a sealed Century International box, "G" (good) condition rated. I'm not going to refinish it, just the same they are really stretching condition in my experience... Super slow shipping to boot!

I really like the finish and at that price, awsome. I think it is going to look great with the new grips.
    Some people just plain suck.

You need those to support anything but the plastic grip panels successfully, that's what. And good luck if you bought one of those shoulder holsters. There's a reason that they're only $5.
