Stopped in at Tanner's on my tour yesterday and have to give them a two thumbs up. Not a yyyuuuuge place but they are packed with guns and accessories and have good prices. Not a square foot going to waste in that place. They were busy in there even during the day on Friday but they were staffed well enough that it wasn't frustrating to get waited on.

This place is by far the best gun shop I've been too. I just made my second GunBroker purchase here.

Went there Saturday morning with cash in hand. Couldn't get to the 1911 counter because that seems to be the spot they use to fill out paperwork. Managed to get a sneak peek and saw the gun I wanted was there. Couldn't get anyone to help me out, walked out and went to another shop.

That was one busy place on a Friday, I wouldn't go there on a Saturday if you paid me to. Their prices on supplies are very good.

I was looking for a specific gun and I was killing time, so I figured I'd give it a shot. I highly doubt I'll stop by there on a Saturday again. I also confirmed that any handgun over $1,000 is cheaper elsewhere. Tanners is great for cheaper guns, but anything over 1k... not so much.

I’ve purchased 5 handguns from Tanners. In my experience when looking for a particular gun it’s best to call first and if they have they’ll hold it for you.
I always check their Facebook page for what’s on sale and every Friday they post used gun listings.

Tanners is often crowded because they have good prices, selection, and service. When I want to avoid a crowd, I call or email, send a deposit, and pickup on a weekday. After many handguns and rifle purchases over the years, I have yet to be disappointed.
