Went in today for the first time to look forsome used rifle. Was hoping to look for a used 223 bolt. Couldn't find any. So I ask the lady behind the counter and she gave me some advice and got a brand new savage 93 17 hmr instead! Wasn't thinking of getting such a small caliber but I left the store with the rifle, rings and a Nikon scope that was on sale. Great services!! I would buy again!

I've always had good experiences at Tanner's. Going to try and stop by tomorrow shopping around for a carry gun for my Girlfriend.

I'm glad I moved down the street from Tanner's.

O by the way guys, I did not check the price before I go to Tanners to buy the Savage but the price at Tanners is CHEAPER then budsxxxshop.(Just check right now) You get the gun right away and no need to wait and pay more for the transfer! The Nikon scope was CHEAPER then fleabay. Wow. Never felt so good buying locally before.

New to the forums so here goes my first post.

I went to Tanners a few times and purchased two rifles from them so far and sold two firearms to them. They offer fair prices for guns and sell at fair prices. I've had some of the best service of my as of yet short firearms life with them and intend to make the majority of my purchases from them when I can.

Recently purchased a firearm from them and took it out shooting the next day and had some problems with the bolt hanging up. I took it back after shooting it and finding the problem and they took it right back no questions asked after I explained it and its currently headed back to the manufacturer. That may be standard procedure but the attention to the customer and the friendly professionalism that they showed me was absolutely second to none.

Looks like you're off to a great start!

    Welcome to the forum.

Yes, NIB firearms can have a problem right out of the box. What would have happened if you had bought it online? Your guess is as good as mine.

It was actually a used firearm, which is why it surprised me so that they took it back no questions asked to ensure I was satisfied with my purchase. I do believe I'm Tanners Loyal for Life.

Lightbulb Re: Tanners in Bucks Co.

The Ruger Mk II I bought has a faulty magazine that won't feed.

So, the gun basically doesn't work.

Took it back yesterday and Ray Sr. offered to send the magazine back to Ruger to see if they'd replace it, but essentially told me I'd fare better with them on my own.

I didn't ask for a refund, but if I have to buy a new Ruger mag, the price I paid turns out not to be such a great deal after all.

    Caveat Emptor.

It's hard to go in there for something small & not leave with a gun,or at the very least seriously consider getting another one, it's hard to pass up a good deal

Tanner's is fantastic! I have never felt so comfortable in a gun shop before. They also have an excellent bow section and a bow range upstairs they will let you use for free.

    In fact, Tanner's isn't fantastic, it's exceptional!
