I was there last week as well. Did you happen to be looking at one with a scope and one without? Both black?

I bought it because somebody else bought the Kahr K40 that I hesitated on.

But, I gave the Rossi to a young lady who is just getting into shooting. She was tickled.

I didn't know they had two Scouts. It was without a scope, Black, Brand new, $1250
I pulled the trigger (no pun intended) on the deal on Wednesday 4/27 around noon.

Really great shop with good honest humble people and prices. In the same day I went from Claytons to Tanners and I felt a big difference in both pricing and overall feel of the store.

I bought a gun with rails from a private seller and needed a little help putting some rail protectors on a rail and they helped me out.

Nice prices and great selection, just wish they had more AKs in stock.

what i like most about them is the customer/staff interaction. these guys are warehouses of info, and will gladly share it with you. the know their stuff. no mall ninja b.s., no looking down the nose because you have a question, the prices are great, if they don't have what you need, they can usually get it quickly, and they get some pretty cool used stuff.

if they put an indoor range in, i think i might actually live there.

I have not had the pleasure of visiting this establishment. But fear not as I definitely plan on it after reading these reviews. Thanks all, looks like my wallet has another location to fear.

They worry that get a bad reputation. We've all seen the horror stories some stores. I think this is why they will take hit. In addition, you will come back, because they are honorable....

My daughter had a soccer tourney in Bucks County a couple of Saturdays ago. Stopped by Tanner's on my way home.

No way could I NOT buy the Ruger Mk II, in standard 6 7/8" tapered barrel configuration, for $169!

Stopped by today to pick it up on my way home from a doc's appointment....

    ...saw a stainless Interarms/Rossi 877 revolver, .357 mag, 2" bbl., excellent condition....for $199.

So, I took that one home with me, too.

Ray Sr. prices his used stuff even below what a private individual would sell them for. The downside is the sales tax, but that is a negligible amount.

So, just in the past six months, I've bought 5 handguns from Tanner's.

I think the end of your post is right on... They are honorable. Because of that, I don't think they worry about getting a bad reputation.
