Baseball and Congress
I will admit that I was falling asleep last night, but I SWEAR that I heard the talking head say that Congresss was going to hold a hearing about all the steroids that Major League Baseball Players have used.
You have got to be freaking kidding me! We are in the middle of two fights, the economy is sputtering, decent jobs are going overseas and the congressional leaders are holding hearings about crap adults took to help them play a game better???????
WHO CARES? What is that saying about fiddling while Rome burned? Or was that "let them have circuses and cake" Give me a break.

Re: Baseball and Congress
look at the bright side...
maybe it will distract them from trying to pass any gun control laws for awhile.

Re: Baseball and Congress
They will spend time and money to tell us what we already know and then do nothing about it. Sounds like business as usual.

Who cares if they use steroids or not. Not me. Big kids getting paid to play a game. I'd like to see a major league sporting event where no one bought tickets and no one showed up.
