SAIGA Gunsmith help..
Ok, I know I could probably do it myself, seeing as I've done everything else so far but, does anyone know what gunsmiths in the centre are would do it? I've called J&E,Ulmer's< and a couple more in the area and they all said they couldn't.
I just want it done right and I wanna be done with my beast!
PS: I'm probably going to have my mag catch lever replaced also, so if you can shed light on that, thanks!Last edited by StingyGunner; April 1st, 2011 at 05:06 PM. Reason: things have changed

Re: SAIGA 7.62 FSB Replacement in Centre County?
I've done that before....I said a few not nice words as the spring slammed into my thumbnail... there was a replacement latch with "wings" on it that was easier to instal because the pin holding the latch was really a bolt.
Don't know if XringShooter would be setup to press off that fsb.The resident Saiga snob

Re: SAIGA Gunsmith help..
Yeah that's about it.. Mr. Ulmer said he works mostly on hunting rifles, which I can understand. The other place (i think it was called Noll?) immediately said no almost before I got "AK" out of my mouth

Re: SAIGA Gunsmith help..
I started my search on google again...and found my own thread. LOL. I found a gunsmith I did not call last time though. Does anyone have any experience with Ballistic Engineering LLC out of Millheim?
