    Default Kahr CW9

Picked up a Kahr CW9 yesterday and today went to the range and put 150 trouble free rounds through it. Single stack 7+1, thin, light, will make a great IWB holster carry gun.

I don't disagree with you at all. I believe it is one of the best firearms on the market for that purpose. Don't let the size fool you, that sucker can take a lot of shooting and still keep going strong. Good luck with it.

I have one as well, at around 4000 rounds the trigger bar broke. Kahr replaced it no problems.

Fantastic firearm, thin , flat accurate, easy to carry, .easy to shoot.

Got mine lightly used for $299, some fool traded it in with 2 extra mags and a brand new leather Galco iwb holster, so ifigured i got the gun for like less than $200 being that Kahr mags go for $39.00 apiece.

    Enjoy you CW9,

    Mike

Wow. Helluva deal. Buying Kahr mags sucks. I just spent a cool $150 on .40 Kahr mags. No fun.

Going to order an extra magazine from Kahr. Now I just have to find a good self defense round. I hear the 115 grain Hornady Critical Defense in 9mm is a pritty good round, or the 124 grain Remington Golden Saber +P

I use the Federal HST 147 grain rounds in my Kahr for self defense. I was at one of the Pittsburgh group shoots a few years ago and a guy there from Corbon had some ballistic gel, I was very happy with the expansion of the HST round. Here's a photo of two rounds from that shoot, my 9mm and a 45 cal HST round. (the 9mm round was fired from my Kahr CW9)

Now while it's obvious the 45 cal would do more damage, this thread is about a 9mm round so lets keep the 45 vs 9mm argument out of this please.

Thank you for the photo I like the look of both rounds. I also have a CW40 another great shooter.

Keep us posted. I've always thought about a Kahr, but my gundealer keeps advising me to steer clear of Kahr saying they are poorly made guns and overpriced for what you get ?? Everyone has an opinion I guess
