    Default riser on an ar-15

Hey Guys, I hope this is the right place for this question.

I just bought a riser to mount an eotech on an AR-15. The riser will bridge the rails on the upper and lower halves...Is this safe or will this cause unnatural stress points on the rifle? any help would be appreciated. I can send a pic if there is any confusion as to what I am trying to accomplish.

Should be no problem as long as they intersect with each other (same height)...
