Default I got a new gun! It only took me 4 years!

Yep. Been looking for this gun for the past 4 years.
Its sort of a holygrail gun to me. Its been an order at my gunshop just as long. Its almost as if its in their lineup, but they never bothered to actualy produce one in this configuration.

In the past few years, I have seen couple of them at the local range, and gunshop elsewhere. But non were with Standard sight. They were all with sdjustable sight, which I do not want.
I ended up picking up ParaOrdnance LTC 9mm 2 weeks ago, only to find out this gun finally showed up 2 days after I bought LTC.

    I was pissed.

So I decided to take a loss, got rid of LTC cheap(actualy, my dealer was very generous about tradein, as he knew exactly how long I was looking for this gun, and was sorry for how this turned out) and picked this bad boy up!

I get a new gun for my Birthday every year. My Birthday is coming and guess what is on the top of the list.
I always stressed to my son"one shot one kill that was all that is needed". When He came home from Marine Corp Boot camp He was telling me about the Marines stressing "ONE SHOT ONE KILL" He looks at me and the light bulb went on Dad was now a whole lot smarter than he was 13 weeks ago.

Looks great. You are not going to miss anything by getting rid of the Para. I love it when one of us actually gets one of his holy grails.

Much cheaper to shoot then .45ACP.
I have had several nice full size 1911 in the past(Para, 2 Springfields - one GI, and one Loaded SS, and Kimber TLE), and I always ended up selling it, because I can't afford to shoot .45ACP as much as I like.
But 9mm, I can shoot as twice as much for the same price of .45ACP.

    Ease of recoil then .45ACP
While I can easily handle .45ACP recoil, my wife can't. 9mm out of full 40oz stainless steel gun is like shooting .22LR , and due to single stack frame, even my wife can grip the weapon right with her small hand.

1911 in .45ACP's are so common - You can't go to range without running in to several people shooting variety of 1911's. from low end to high end. But not many people shooting 9mm 1911. Guess I like that.
Yet, most all upgrade for .45ACP version would work with 9mm 1911.

I also have 1911 in .45ACP that I love that I'll take it to grave with me already...

(My Para I just got rid of, and My DanWesson CBOB)
I bought that DW CBOB several years ago. it was between CBOB and Colt XSE Commander.
Im grad I got this instead...
