    Well, I experimented with several options including foam covers for comfort. I may put a slight downward bend in the horizontal portion to improve the sight picture.

    Quite honestly, I have a soft spot in my heart for wire stocks. I would have preferred a collapsible wire stock. There was an AR variant that had one. I tried to modify it, but the sig frame is too thick so I shelved the idea for now.

    If anyone knows of other options- let me know.

    I just called atf and my form 1 was approved April 1st. Mailed it off in late January. Gonna be a 10.25" AR. I'll get picks up when the stamp and parts get here.

    304-616-4500 I wait at least a month after the check is cashed. They will ask your for your serial # and name.

    I was wrong I didn't send it in until early February my form was signed by the sheriff on 2/2/11. I received my stamp today.
