Default Need some help ID'ing a pistol...

I'm trying to help someone out with this, so I figured I'd see if anyone on here could offer any info.

He is just wondering a manufacturer, information on the marks, approximate value, and any other information anyone can offer. He wasn't very successful at searching on the internet, only finding a few things, so I thought maybe someone on here could help.

Thanks for any info you can offer!

(I have a few more pics if really needed)

    belgian pocket revolver?

here is a pic i found that looks kind of similar but the description mentions some markings that your pics have.

Antique Belgium nickel finish revolver, six-shot cylinder marked "30", 2.75" barrel marked below "30", marked at right side of barrel "crown, over R, over star , over backwards P", marked at right frame "star, over backwards P", wood grips, marked at cylinder exterior "star, over backward P, over Leige crown and circle with ELG"
hope that puts you in the ballpark!

Or, perhaps, a German model. This from the NRA Musuem http://www.nramuseum.com/the-museum/...-revolver.aspx

    Be safe (and nostalgic).

i was thinking that also, but i noticed that all the german ones i saw looked like they were all break open revolvers and i don't think the op's is.

True, after I posted that, I went back and looked closer. I agree with the above. It does not look like the OP's.

Be safe (and back to google images ).

That's a Brittish version. Several were made. 99% sure it's the bulldog of some sort.

By Jove, I think you've got it! Rep for your Google-Fu.

Be safe (and you have to admire this great resource called PAFOA).

Thanks, I saw one in a local shop and had my eye on it. I wish my google-fu was that strong.

OP, the one I saw was in poor shape and at a shop was going for 125.00.

If this indeed is the same gun, use your google-fu and there are websites that are the same as Kelly Blue Book for guns. I can get links if needed. I used to have a few bookmarked on my old laptop.

Wow, thanks for all the info guys! I'll have to check more of it out from home, since I can't get on most "weapon" sites from work. But I appreciate all the work and info!

    Thanks again!
