Re: Harrisburg gun show
This was one of the better shows i have been to in a long time.
It was in the main hall so the isles were very wide between the tables. No jostling to get through. I saw a few good deals and picked up some AR goodies. Ammo was about average in price.
The parking was $8 and the lot was full. I would have spent more is gas driving to any other show though so i cant complain.
I met forceinPA, Good to finally put a face to the name.

Re: Harrisburg gun show
By far the best show I've been to in ages. But if im paying 8 bucks to park in a reasonably secure lot they should clean up the big ass hunks of broken glass. That was ridiculous but everything else was great, prices weren't even that bad.

Re: Harrisburg gun show
I went to Harrisburg shows twice a year for almost 20 years. The first time I turned into the driveway and saw they were charging for parking, I turned around and went home. I have not been back to those shows since. Great shows. But not worth the cost of parking to me. Since I only live about 5 miles from the York show, I go to those. FREE PARKING. To each there own. TT

Re: Harrisburg gun show
I was there saturday am. Spoke with a vendor about the parking and he also told me that the state had people there attempting to buy stuff just to see it they were really charging sales tax on items. He also said that if you owed any back taxes that they were going around looking to collect them right there on the spot.
Maybe 30 min later I was at another vendor looking at an 870 when a guy comes up next to me and my buddy to look at a different shotgun. He was wearing a secret service style ear piece that was not concealed very well. He started to give that vendor a hard time about the price on the shotgun and asking all sorts of off the wall questions about it as well. Once I noticed the ear piece I decided it was time to move along and finish my shopping pretty quickly.
All in all the show wasn't a bad one but I doubt I will be going back. $16 bucks total for parking and admission is a bit much."Remember the first rule of gunfighting ... have a gun." Jeff Cooper

Re: Harrisburg gun show
Anyone remember the name of the dealer with all the Magpul products? Middle-ish isle almost middle of the isle. I think they had a banner displaying their name. Any help?
