Lehigh county firearm transfer
Hello,
Where's a good place to do a firearm transfer in lehigh county? I'm looking at purchasing a ak rifle online and it is my understanding that I would need to have it shipped to a licensed dealer first.
Thanks

But probably not the most cost effective. I think that last time I was in there they quoted me somewhere between $40 and $50 for a transfer. Check out AF Boyer up in Slatington, they charged me $25 to transfer my AK. I also hear eagle arms in Breinigsville does transfers at a decnt price.

Alright thanks. I'll look into army and navy since they are closest.

Boyer's Hardware in Slatington is where I always go. No complaints and out the door is something like $26. Real good bunch of guys.

Re: Lehigh county firearm transfer
I got an AK from Atlantic shipped to Boyers. Like others said, $25/$26. I live in Whitehall and bagged Army Naves, I'm almost positive they wanted $40 something. Dont quote me here, I think handgun transfers might be less than long gun.
I'll call tomorrow to get the scoop rather than spread misinformation. Pretty damn sure though, I live like 2 min away and wouldnt have drove up to Boyers otherwise. Although Boyers is a nice shop with great prices. I'm not driving a 25 min for $5.
