    Default New Acquisition

Hi all, I won a Puma 1911-22 at my local FNRA banquet last night and was wondering if anyone else had any pros or cons on this gun. It seems to be well made. Anything I should be careful of let me know. This is my first 1911 style pistol so any input would be helpful.

Well, the good news is, you won it. The other good news is, you didn't buy it.
Good or bad, it's always nice to win something.
Have fun with it. I've read a couple reviews that weren't to flattering. I've shot it's cousin from Chiappa? Not too impressed.
Like I said, You won it!

The only thing I heard, and can't verify if true. Supposedly not a real good thing to fire a lot of the 'hyper-velocity' rounds thru it.

I read some things that were not real good about it, not real bad but not real good. A gunsmith told me the Chiappa was better. I have held both and they felt like light 9111's.
