Talking OC on Sport Bike Today...

I saw a man on a sport bike pull over in front of my company truck today on West Liberty Ave.He was reaching around to adjust something on his bike or person and I spotted a Glock in an OWB holster. He definately was OCing because he had his jacket tucked behind the gun.I smiled and wondered which formite it was.tom.

If you wear proper gear, then OC is about your only option. gloves and well fitting jackets that do their best to keep skin on flesh dont make for a speedy draw, and zippers get in the way.

Or you could be like my dad, who even though he has met the ground at speed, still continues to wear a silly tiny helmet and almost no protective / reflective gear, because it doesnt look cool.

I wear all gear all the time. I carry my 13-1 4", cross-draw IWB, easiest to sit and slightly bend forward, and doesn't get in Sally's way on the back. NS Just in case I go off I think it would be a bit better protected.

Also, in PA, I'm sure OC on a bike is considered concealed.

It's not considered concealed, it's considered transported loaded in a vehicle....even though you're on the vehicle.

I need to get around to getting a set up for carrying and riding, right now I don't have anything and the weather is getting warmer.

I oc on my FZ6 all the time in & around Pittsburgh. I have never had a problem but I have had some women ask me if I was a cop or something. Can't wait until it's warmer out.

I Oc'd a ton on the ride last summer, never had any issues. I was always checking my side when stopped though, for fear of someone trying to sneak up from behind and snatch it.
