    Default Demooning tools

A little while ago I became the owner of a gun that utilized moon clips. With that came the need for a demooning tool. There are commercial ones out there, but I had the tools and the materials to make some of my own. Here are some lousy cell phone pics of today's activities.

One of these is sold already, although I do not know which one, since the buyer has not instructed me as to his choice yet. I have more stuff though, and can make more, if anyone is interested in a custom wood demooner.

Mine look just like that... except the handle is $.25 the copper end cap soldered on. those look excellent, and if you used the same pipe I did, will work for 38's. 40's & 45's
