Gee, now that you rounded up all the people obviously carrying a firearm, what about the six of our party you missed?

Just an idea. I probably have to work; basically can't make a Thursday date.

Good point.

This open carry dinner will probably not be an 'issue'.
The management of the restaurant knows that people will be open carrying and the reservation has been made.
Now if sheeple patrons decide that its the end of the world........well.......its only the end of the world in the restaurant because its private property.
I will open carry for the dinner, although open carry is not my norm. I will also be concealing.
I will definitely show my support for those that do open carry by joining them. If they (police) are putting cuffs on people for carrying, I will put my hands out to be cuffed.
Hopefully sanity will prevail and the dinner will be peaceful and enjoyable.

I haven't read through the whole thread, but are you guys going to invite local media to cover the event? If so, I would check with the owners to make sure they don't mind a little free publicity (Remember...there is no bad publicity!)
