ruger pistols sr40
looking for honest opinions on ruger pistols. i have there revolvers and have no problems...i also have a p95 that to me is junk. i am looking at some 40's and for some reason i like the feel of the sr40. i have a bad taste in my mouth with ruger pistols, yes i know the p95 was only a 300 pistol. i would like to hear some gun people chime in. i also have a sig, that is just awesome but i dont want to spend 700 bucks on a 40.

Their newer pistols are totally different ! All the SR pistols got good write ups in all the gun mags, and stores are selling them like hotcakes !
I just bought a P 345 and it's totally different from owning the old style frames.
I really like mine ! I was even thinking of getting an SR 40 ?You Can Take My Gun When You Pry it From My Dead, Cold, Hand !

you'll love it!
Accurate and easy shooting.
My SR9 so far has not had a single issue, not one, through almost 2000 rounds of whatever I could find cheap!

Re: ruger pistols sr40
I have a SR9c and it is very reliable. There have been no issues whatsoever and I have about 6-700 rounds down range. Sights are good and it does feel good in the hand while also being easily concealable.

Re: ruger pistols sr40
I've had an SR9 two yrs. and the only complaint I'd level at the pistol is its trigger. It's comfortable in the hand, a great shooter, and very reliable. Still debating whether to have some work done to the trigger or not since its my better half's preferred night stand pistol.
