Hey! Did you know that Obama is pro-gun? Well, he IS.
Just another example of one gun owner saying some stupid, untruthful shit to another gun owner.
You were given very bad info.

He's got too much to lose.
Think about it. The man has two young daughters. Having a few guns laying around the house in a few years will eventually get the message across to the young, male "friends". Can't do that if you can only have a gun if it is disassembled, the pieces stored separated from each other in locked containers and one piece deposited at the Sheriff's office for safety.
JanSo long and thanks for all the fish.

Re: ltcf/hand gun reg?
Good for you. I also have a .22 Heritage revolver, mine is the .22 LR/.22 magnum combo. A fun plinker for the $$.
I am not so sure that I would personally carry a single action .22 revolver for SD, when most bad guys prefer a semi-auto. But if that is what you have, then maybe a little advice here:
Practice 'fanning' the hammer.
When carrying a single action revolver, the safest way to carry it is hammer down on an empty cylinder. = Load one round, skip one, load 4 more. Now you only have 5 rounds.
Yeah the Heritage does have a hammer block safety, but this is the general method for single actions.
And don't believe everything you hear from a gun shop owner or from co-workers.LUKE 11:21 == Proverbs 29:2 = Proverbs 25:28
