Glock 23
I was at the range last night and my Glock 23 jammed on me twice. Both times the bullets that jammed were Winchester. I also had Federal ammo which didn't jam. I also have a Glock 22 which has never jammed no what king of ammo I used. Any thoughts?

Re: Glock 23
weak mag springs? aftermarket mags?
Only twice I had a Glock jam up on me. Once with a weak spring, another time with those $5 asian mags.

Re: Glock 23
My G23 has a FTF occasionally with 155 gr reloads. I haven't had any problems with any kind of 180gr bullets, (factory or reloads). I just stay with the 180's for the Glock & I'm using up the remainder of the 155gr in the Sig 229.

Re: Glock 23
What kind of 'jam' was it? FTE? FTF? ETC? And how old is the gun/how many rounds through it?

Re: Glock 23
FTF is Failure to fire/feed, I always hate that one, its misleading, lol
FTE is failure to extract/eject,
If you can give us some more details we can help narrow it down.
Stove-piping?
Not feeding?
Slide locking back?
Just some of the common problems.Mostly browsing these days, and expanding the collection.

Re: Glock 23
Chances are if you're new to shooting handguns, if you don't have a proper grip, you will get a Failure to Extract. This is because of "limp wristing", when you don't have a proper grip and allow the gun to just wobble any which way during recoil, that directly affects how the spent casing will be ejected.

Re: Glock 23
I have 3 Glocks and except for low powered round they have never FTF or FTE must be a magazine problem or bad rounds, recently I heard of factory ammo having problem. If I feed my Glock 23 or 19 or 21sf factory spec ammo mostly my reloads now I don't have any jams. Now my 92/96s will fire anything that loads. I heard you can change the recoil spring on the Glocks and they will shoot under powered rounds, haven't tried that yet because I load factory spec for them.
Like some of my 1911s sometime you have go with works best in that gun. Strange for a Glock though.

Failed to eject. I am not new to shooting. Both times it was the Winchester Ammo.
