G26- 9mm Carry Ammunition

Hey just got back from the range to test out some HPs for a Glock 26. I have put over 400 rounds through it with ZERO malfunctions.

Most of the rounds were Remington bulk and PMC, but today I was testing out some carry ammo. I fired 40 rounds of Winchester Super X 115gr Silvertips and 40 rounds of Winchester Supreme Elite PDX1 124gr +P.

I preferred the Silvertips because they were not +P but I shot better groups with the Supreme Elite. I can't seem to decide which I like better. Instead I'm asking for suggestions of other carry ammo to test out, especially ammo that works well in G26s.

If you can add some suggestions, it would be appreciated. Thanks.

The easiest answer to this question is you can use pretty much any ammo in a glock and it would function. I would use whatever you practiced the most with myself. I personally carry Federal Hydro-shocks in my G26

I carry a G26 as well in a MTAC holster. Its the best combo I have ever used.

My carry ammo is 147gr Federal HST. Its nice stuff.

Speer Gold Dot. Usually 115gr JHP. I also like their Short Barrel 9mm +P 124gr JHP. I trust Speer Gold Dot, runs perfectly in my G19 and two G26s.

Same here. The good thing about this ammo (and similarly Federal HST) is that you can often get it in LE 50-packs for about half the price per round that they charge for the 20 or 25 packs for the civilian market.
