If you are going to buy from an online source you might want to give this search engine a try it is pretty good.

Walmart is ussually the cheapest around here but our local Gander Mountain will price match.

Loaded my first 10 rounds of 9MM 2 days ago, took them to the range and they worked flawlessly. I spent 40 minutes yesterday with my 11 year old son and cranked out another 50 rounds.

If you don't want to spend a lot of money, single stage is the way to go. If 100 rounds an hour is plenty, single stage is the way to go.

    My $0.02, YMMV
I would recommend a turret as well. It is more or less in between a single stage and a progressive. You can use it as a single stage per say. The advantage is you can do everything in one sweep BUT only be doing one stage at a time. This is ideal for the beginner. Maybe a single stage if you were doing something along the line of precision rifle rounds as there is more to them. Handgun rounds however (for plinking) can be a little less precise to an extent. I am not promoting reloading in a half-assed manner, just saying if your off +/- .001" on a OAL or +/- a fraction of a grain on a mild load, no biggie for target practice. Match loading I would maybe go back to a single stage. Maybe.

I just picked up a case of 9mm from Chris at Advanced Arms this past week. Price (including tax) was on par with having it shipped in from online. Great guy, great shop

Online I like the Armory in Virginia: http://www.the-armory.com/shopsite_s...tml/index.html or

Palmetto State Armory out of Florida: http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.php

There's also a pretty cool way to get notified automatically of all kinds of online ammo sales, along with comments from buyers. Go to:

    http://slickdeals.net

and register with them, using a valid email address. Once you're registered, do a search for "ammo". When the results come up, click on the link towards the top that says "Create a deal alert to be notified whenever a deal on ammo is posted."

Then, whenever someone discovers a good deal, they post it there and you get an email. If you discover a good deal somewhere, you can post it there for everyone else to see.

Just recieved a delivery from palmetto armory out of south carolina. Prices are very reasonable and the on hand stock of tough to get ammo ammo was impressive. Shipping was fast and rates were reasonable of course the more you buy the cheaper the shipping, all in all a good company to deal with.

Aim surplus is currently the cheapest with 9mm WPA 115 gr ammo for $8.25 per box of 50.
