Default LRGC March Practical Rifle Shoot WWII Theme

This month's Practical Rifle Shoot will pay homage to the rifles of World War Two....

We will only have 20 available slots for this event.

Registration is open: Registration Link for March Shoot

The shoot will be Saturday March 26th at Langhone Rod and Gun Club.

The COF will be designed around 8 rounds so you can use you M1 Garand. Those with magazine fed WWII rifles can load your mags to 8 rounds.

Preference will be given to those shooters bring WWII era rifles. If we fail to fill the match with period firearms, then we will accept those shooting modern carbines.

Acceptable Rifles would include semi-auto firearms of the period such as:

    M1 Garand
    M1 Carbine
    M1A Thompson (semi auto only)
    SVT-38
    SVT-40
    Gewehr 41 and 43
    STG 44 (semi auto only)
MP 38 or 40 (semi auto only)
    M1918 BAR (semi auto only)
    Bren (semi auto only)
DP 27 and DP 28 (semi auto only)
    Johnson 1941
PPsh 41,42, 43 (semi auto only)

If what you have is not on the list, email me prior to registration. Remember, No full auto firearms are permitted. Your rifle must be a semi-automatic only. Club rules!

Look for the link on the 10th and we look forward to seeing you on the 26th.

    Regards,
    Gary

Just checked the registration list. Looks like most folks are shooting this match with the M1 Garand. I did see one or two M1 Carbines and one "other". Hopefully we will have a few more from the "other" category. How cool would it be to see the SVT up against the M1 Garand.

Still some room left for this match.
