One of my new Sigs

Today I stopped by my prefered gun shop, Kings shooters supplies, to drop off a gun sold here, when in the case I saw this beauty. I spoke to Roger and received a very fair trade for my Sig P229 in 9mm for this brand new P 229R 40. I already had ordered a custom set of extreme aluminum customized grips for the same gun, yeah I was already looking to get one, and voila' I now have one of the three new guns that I am getting. The sig P229 enhanced elite has been ordered and should arrive in 4 weeks. Les baer 1911 should arrive any day now. Anyway here is the pictures for the new Sig p229. What do you guys think of it?

How does the .40 compare to the 9mm in the Sig 229?

I love Sigs so of course it looks good.

Thanks guys. There is the light difference in recoil, other then that it is identical in all the features and specs. This is my 3rd 229 in 40 but the first in the rail design. I can wait to get the enhance and see what the difference is there in the shooting and recovery time. I'll post a range report when I get the other also and take them both to the range.
